Anne De Zogheb – Brief Biography
Anne de Zogheb is the daughter of Lebanese diplomat Charles de Zogheb. Anne was raised in Egypt and is of English, Lebanese, French, Dutch and Greek descent.
A top model, she graced the covers of many fashion magazines beginning in the late 1950’s. She met Paul Anka while on assignment with the Eileen Ford Agency in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1962. The couple married on February 16, 1963 at a ceremony at Orly Airport in Paris. Zogheb and Anka broke some records of sorts by remaining married for 37 years and raising 5 daughters. (They Divorced in 2000)
Anne quit modeling after their second child was born. The Anka daughers include singer Anthea Anka and Amanda (wife of actor Jason Bateman)
